Meet your garden coach
I’m a garden designer, garden coach and Colorado Master Gardener. I tend two acres of recovering land in North Fort Collins, a former horse pasture slowly finding its way back to life.
Through Mother Gardener I design flowing, ecologically rooted gardens and help people tend their land with more intention. I believe gardens are not projects to be completed, but relationships to be tended.
The Gardener’s Post is how I get to be by your side in your garden. Each month, the letter I wish someone had sent me: what to notice, what to tend, and a little wonder waiting inside.

The heart of each issue is slowing down and feeling the season you’re in, and that travels anywhere. The garden coaching is written from my home in Fort Collins, Colorado (Zone 5b). Anything tied to a specific zone is labeled, with a note for warmer zones each month, so you can adjust the timing to your own frost dates. If you garden somewhere without much of a winter, some timing will run ahead of you, but the rest is still yours.
